Our Story

“Good advice is priceless. Not what you want to hear but what you need to hear. Not imaginary but practical. Not based on fear, but on possibility. Not designed to make you feel better, designed to make you better.”

— Seth Godin, Author

Our firm pioneered a new approach to financial advice over three decades ago. We are a fiduciary advisor, always focused on you. At J.E. Wilson Advisors, we think the personal finance world is upside down. We concentrate on life planning first, before focusing on investments.

Partnering with you, we share responsibility for good long term results. We help manage the often difficult behavioral pieces of complicated financial lives.

Your financial life today is the sum of all your decisions, good and bad, along the way. Your future financial life will also depend upon your choices over time. We show you the science, provide tools and apply the science artfully to your circumstances. Because advice is…more than numbers.
