Mr. Wilson is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP^®) licensee, having successfully completed the postgraduate study in investments, taxation, insurance, estate and retirement planning.

James has been recognized in several financial publications, including the following:

Named to the Worth magazine "Top Financial Advisors" list in 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998.

Mr. Wilson is past president of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), which is the primary professional association for FEE-ONLY financial advisors. Mr. Wilson serves on the Boards of Family Honor, Inc. and The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.

Mr. Wilson and his wife Cathy have two children, John and Nazley. They live in Columbia and are active members of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
