James E. Wilson is the Founder and CEO of J.E. Wilson Advisors and developer of The Integrated Economic Solution®, the unique wealth management process created for firm clients. Mr. Wilson is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) licensee, having successfully completed the postgraduate study in investments, taxation, insurance, estate and retirement planning. James has been recognized in several financial publications, including the following:
Mr. Wilson has appeared on national television programs, including CNBC, and has written and been quoted in over 100 articles in financial periodicals, including Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger's, The New York Times, Worth, and The Washington Post. Mr. Wilson is past president of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), which is the primary professional association for FEE-ONLY financial advisors. He also served four years on the Board of Governors of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Mr. Wilson serves on the Boards of Family Honor, Inc. and The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. Mr. Wilson and his wife Cathy have two children, John and Nazley. They live in Columbia and are active members of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
